Bortle 7 is a personal deep-sky astrophotography project based in San Pedro de Alcántara, Málaga, where the local sky registers around Bortle 7 on the light-pollution scale. The main imaging setup is a Sky-Watcher Evostar 100 EDX refractor paired with a cooled ZWO ASI 533 MC Pro colour camera, all managed by a ZWO ASIAIR Plus. Despite the significant light pollution, filters like the Optolong L-Pro and L-eNhance make it possible to capture nebulae, galaxies, and clusters with a surprising level of detail.

This site collects everything from the sessions: the equipment used, a gallery of processed images, articles about techniques and processing, and YouTube videos to go alongside each capture. The whole thing is a work in progress, and the catalogue grows with every clear night.
