M42, Orion Nebula

The Orion Nebula (M42) is one of the most-photographed star-forming regions in the sky. Its extreme dynamic range demanded a multi-exposure HDR strategy to preserve detail in the Trapezium core without burning out the outer nebula. Captured with the DWARF 3’s built-in dual-band filter, uncalibrated, from a Bortle 7 sky.
